Tips on how to get your blog indexed fast by Google

• One of the fastest way to let Google index your site is comment on the other blogs. Those blogs are regularly crawled and indexed by Google in less than 24 hr. When you comment on their blog, Google bot will follow the link you have left in the comment to your new site and index it. I also like this tip because I can exposure myself with other bloggers, make friends and be more involved in the blogsphere.
• My favorite blog to comment is Blogussion and FamousBloggers. They have very good posts, the active community and comments are CommentLuv enabled.
• Submit your site to social bookmarking site like Digg, Mixx, Reddit, YHacker News and lots more is another great way to fasten the indexing process. These social bookmarking site is highly appreciated by Google and crawled very often. That also decrease the index time of your website.
• Another way to get your blog indexed fast by Google is pinging. For me, I only ping once for every new post and I often use pingomatic service. It’s free and what it does is it send the small notice to search engines that your blog has been updated so index it.
• You also have to add your website to Google Webmasters central and submit a sitemap to it. For sitemap generation in WordPress, I use the plug-in called Google XML Sitemap. This small plug in will create the site map of your blog and tell the Google bots to crawl the sitemap each time it visits your blog to better understand your content. This decreases the index time of your blog as well.
• Google webmasters tool is completely free service.Once you sign up for a free account,you will be asked to add your site.Add your blog's url there.Then search for the verify link there and click it.Choose metatag as verification method.Gooogle will provide you with a metatag.Copy and paste that metatag into your template just beside opening "head" tag.
• Now you are done.Just click the "Verify" button.Googlebot will crawl your blog to find the metatag you have pasted and in the process it will index your blog.
• Sign up for a google analytics account and place tracking code in you template. The working of this tip is pretty much similar to tip-2.Once you place tracking code in your template and hit "check" button, googlebot crawls your site to ensure you have placed the code right.Again in the process of checking, your blog is indexed.
• Sign up for an Adsense account with your blog's url. You might get confused here but its true that you can use adsense for indexing your site faster apart from earning money.Let me explain things in some detail- What happens when you sign up for an adsense account?You get a message saying-"Your site will be reviewed before acceptance in our program".Now,who reviews your site/blog.They are not human editors ,instead googlebot reviews the sites for adsense program. Now you can guess it.After you sign up for adsense, google bot or spiders crawl your website to review it and also indexes it while reviewing.Normally reviewing is fast ,taking about 24-48 hours and in next 24 hrs. after a review your site is indexed. Isn't this cool !!!!!!
• Submit sitemap of your blog (your blog's feed) in google webmasters tool - This tip is straight forward.Just submit your blog's sitemap in your webmasters tool account. Google indexes the url's in the sitemap pretty quickly. Almost all search engine experts recommend submitting a sitemap for faster indexing.
• Make sure on the menu “Settings → Basic → Let search engines find your blog?”, you choose “Yes”. Articles on your blog are original, not from Copy Paste from other blogs. Commonly, all search engines including Google dislike blogs with Copy-Paste contents. Moreover, your blog has not been indexed. So, don’t think your blog will attract Google if your blog does not have the original content.
• Submit your articles to various Social bookmark sites. Several social bookmark sites those are popular: Digg.com, Stumbleupon.com, Identi.ca, Delicious.com, buzz.yahoo.com, reddit.com, ping.fm, etc
• Comment on dofollow blog.
• Try to get your blog linked by blogs with high Page Rank.
